Tinazzi Corvina
Tinazzi Corvina
Big, juicy Italian stunner for the Cabernet lover
The weight of this bottle alone will impress you, but the juice inside will have you reaching for this wine on the regular. It's big, bold, and juicy–if you like Caymus or Quilt Cabernet, this one is for you.
Grown in northern Italy, Corvina is one of the most dynamic grapes in the world–expressions can range from dry and tannic like a chianti to bold like a California cabernet. The grapes in this wine undergo a lengthy and complex drying process that yields a concentrated, juicy flavor.
Amarone is a DOCG denomination of wines made from Corvina grapes, translating to "great bitter" in Italian. Typical Amarones run from $70 to $300+, while Amarones with a shortened aging process, dubbed "Baby Amarones," are sold for less.
We love this Amarone because it packs that big, juicy flavor but at a fraction of the price.
