This wine is made at Pakravan Papi in Bolgheri, Italy, a region known for its cabernet sauvignon, cab franc, and merlot. Bolgheri's flagship wine is the legendary Sassicaia, a world famous wine that can go anywhere from $200 to $400 in a fine restaurant. 

Pakravan Papi is a relatively small generational vineyard known for producing excellent wines on its own, but what makes this wine special is that it was made under the guidance of Graziana Grassini, Sassicaia's female winemaker.

Dominantly cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, this wine is big, bold, and powerful and has notes of dark fruit and spice. We recommend giving this one time to open up before drinking and enjoying it with a meal featuring red meat.
